Some blues riffing to test out a new recording technique/gear.
This is a 54 year old supro 3/4 scale learner guitar. The pickups are pretty microphonic so if you listen close you can hear the click track (that’s coming from the pickups, no mics were used in this recording).
The recording was done with my ipad, using the camera connector kit (i.e. usb adapter) and a Rocksmith guitar cable (Rocksmith is a PS3/Xbox game based around real electric guitars, the cable is essentially 1/4” guitar cable to USB)
The Rocksmith cable was plugged into a line6 guitar wireless unit (the really short cable lessens pickup load and makes this already bright guitar even brighter)
This also allowed me to walk around my living room and noodle this out.
Unamplified guitar signal track included as well.
