A remix of Loveshadow’s “I Wonder If God Was Sleeping” for October ‘09 Secret Mixter. The remix uses the original acapella and full track, as well as a number of his other mixes and stems.

The Loveshadow assignment initially felt like a blessing and curse - so much quality material to pull from, and a distinct style and level of musicality and production, remix-wise. After much over-thinking, I thought about a great Daniel Lanois quote in which he says something about all his mixes starting with something magical. So, with that thought in mind, I quickly found the “I Wonder If God Was Sleeping” track very appealing and moving. It was a huge pleasure to mine the various corners of his mixes and stems for material - gorgeous music. I hope you enjoy!
