This mix evolved while iterating on a set of chord progressions, and listening to and editing jacindae’s “Until You Are Home Again” and MissJudged’s “The World Ends”. From a production perspective, there is usage of the vocal material throughout (chops, some bass and melodic timbres, etc.). Thematically, I wanted to evoke an anticipatory dystopic remorse of lost peace and beauty.
